Corokia x virgata 'Mangatangi' (POT grown)

Corokia 'Mangatangi" Ht 1.5-3m

Form from the Mangitangi dam in the Hunua Ranges. Very fine light green leaves, small star-like yellow flowers in summer, followed by yellow fruit. Good for clipped hedging. For a low hedge of between 50cm – 1m we recommend you plant them 30cm – 50cm apart. For a hedge of between 1m – 2m we recommend planting them 50cm – 1m apart.

Bred by Mike Geenty, this clone has bright lime green leaves and is evergreen. Masses of tiny yellow flowers then orange berries for the birds, Upright growth, clips well as a hedge.Withstands coastal exposure and dry.
