Appletons' Tree Nursery - Terms of Trade

Order confirmation – We will email an order confirmation as soon as possible after receipt of your order. This will advise of any size changes, unavailable species, and cost (excluding GST and freight).

Deposit – We may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your order. If so, we will issue an invoice subsequent to your confirmation, which must be paid within seven days of issue.

Payments – Accounts are payable within 7 days. Approved trade accounts are due by the 20th of the month following date of the invoice. Overdue accounts are subject to 2% interest per month. Any undisputed account requiring to be collected by a debt collection agency will also attract all collection fees including their commission fees. Our accounts are protected by Guardian Credit.

Claims – We take special care in the packaging of our plants to ensure they arrive in good condition. Any complaints or shortages must be lodged within seven days of receipt of goods. Claims for loss or damage in transit are to be made to the last carrier.

Conditions of sale – Appletons' Tree Nursery Ltd. takes great care to have all trees, plants, and propagating material to be of merchantable quality and to be true to name and description. However, any express or implied conditions, statement of warranty whether arising by statute or common law or otherwise as to merchantable quality or names or descriptions is hereby excluded. Appletons' Tree Nursery Ltd. does not undertake to replace failures or be responsible for the crop.
